This year, we’ve teamed up with Santa’s mischievous little helpers – his elves! They might be small, but they’re full of tricks, and they’ve snuck away from the North Pole to lead our Christmas adventure. Forget the big man himself (December’s a busy time for him, after all), and say hello to two of Santa’s cheekiest elves, who’ll be causing all kinds of festive mischief at the farm park…
Our elves have left a mystery trail for the kids to crack, and along the way, they’ll explore the farm, meet our friendly animals, and discover the letters that lead to an exciting present at the elves’ workshop… If they can unscramble the mystery word, that is!
It’s a Christmas adventure like no other, seeing your children using their thinking caps, enjoying the outdoors, and meeting some farm park favourites. Our playgrounds are open too, so there’s plenty to keep little ones entertained.
We know it’s winter, and we need to look after our land, so Elfcapades is a more laid-back version of our usual Countryside Adventure fun, but rest assured, it’s still packed with excitement… With wintery magic in the air, a few playful surprises from the elves, and lots of giggles, this is one Christmas experience that won’t break the bank. Had a great day out with the kids today . Highly recommended to other parents. We joined this weekend for the elf event, and girls you worked really hard always a smile upon your faces. Harry great tractor driving though unsure why you were not sporting a pair of stripy tights. The price was amazing for the amount of entertainment available. For your first year it was great I can only see this getting bigger every year. The weather was wet and windy but that still didn’t deter anyone from having a great time. Great coffee too. Located near a bus stop so assess for us non drivers was great. Amazing job guys you should all be proud even those behind the scenes. Tonight I’m tucking in a boy who now truly is in the Christmas spirt

Opening times and prices for Elfcapades at Over Farm’s Countryside Adventure
10am – 3.00pm every weekend
Saturday 5th – Sunday 20th and the 21st & 22nd of December.
Our ticket prices can change with demand, so booking online is always the best value.
From £10.49 per adult when booked before 21st of November.
The biggest savings come when you book 14+ days before your visit during our Earlybird period; these lowest-price tickets often sell out quickly, so it’s worth locking them in early.
A £2 booking fee applies per online transaction.
Earlybird (14+ days ahead) – best value
Book more than two weeks in advance for our farm park and you’ll unlock our Earlybird prices – the lowest we go!
Online (by 10pm the day before) – still cheaper
Missed the Earlybird window? You’ll still save when you book online before 10pm the day before your visit.
Gate (on the day) – highest price
Just turning up? You’re always welcome; just know that gate prices are higher and kick in from 10pm the day before.

Once you’ve helped save Christmas with our cheeky elves, head over to our Christmas Market. With live music, tasty treats, local gifts, and oodles of Christmas trees and twinkly lights, it’s the perfect way to round off your festive visit. (Pssst… Entry’s free too.)
Whats included in the entry price?
Elfcapades trail
Those naughty elves really have made a mess of that mystery word. Head onto their cheeky trail and see if you can find the missing letters dotted around. Solve the anagram and that present’s yours (ahem, your child’s).
Marshmallow toasting
You can all toast a marshmallow at our special toasting station. There’s nothing quite like that sweet smell of caramelised marshmallow, the perfect little treat to put the cherry on top of your experience!
A present for every child
When they solve the elves’ riddle, your child will receive a quality present in the toy workshop. Make sure you snap photos of their happy faces, and grab a picture with our naughty elves… If you can keep up with them!
Lots of little extras
Who can squirt their duck to pole position and win the race?! Can you snap a photo on Henry, the oldest tractor on our farm? Or will you get lost in the tunnels in our sensory play area?! Plenty to keep them busy here!
Animal trail
Grab some feed at the admissions hut and head onto the animal trail to meet our crazy critters, from goats and llamas to pigs and ostriches. They’re all keen to make your acquaintance…and eat your feed.
Play areas
Let off some steam in our play areas! Climb aboard the combine harvester, play a round of mini golf, explore the sensory zone – which will you do first? If the rain stays away, have a bounce on our enormous pillows too!
Mini golf
Grab your clubs, choose your balls and find out who’s the perfect putter on our 9-hole mini golf course. Our mini golf course is great for some friendly grown-up-child competition. But… A little bit of cheating never hurts anyone!
Bouncy pillows (weather permitting)
There’s nothing that sets a child’s heart racing quite like our enormous bouncy pillows! So long as the weather’s playing ball, watch them bounce to their heart’s delight… And maybe join them for some jolly jumping, if you dare!
Hot drinks**
Warm your cockles with a hot drink and a snack from the drinks hut. We’ll be serving teas, coffees, hot chocolates and treats to keep you fuelled while the children play. Nobody wants freezing fingers for Christmas!

Food and drink at Countryside Adventure
Feel free to bring a delicious picnic filled with all your favourite treats, venture over to our fabulous Food Box for barista-crafted drinks, loaded fries and cold drinks. Or, head to the farm shop for an even wider range of delights.
While we appreciate your generosity, please refrain from sharing your food with our beloved animals (especially those greedy goats!).
Our furry friends thrive best on our animal feed – specially curated to meet their nutritional needs. You can always buy a bag of feed at the admissions hut if you’d like to make your animal encounters truly memorable!
Weekend tickets to Countryside Adventure return in February!
Countryside Adventure opens at certain weekends during the year and for events throughout every school holiday, like our Christmas experience! Your Christmas ticket will include entry to Countryside Adventure, then we’ll give the ground a break for a couple of months.
