Since the 90s, we’ve been providing the good folk of Gloucester with tasty baked goods and beautiful breads. It all started with a few frozen items bought in and baked, until Over Farm Market grew to the point where we could get really serious on our ready-to-go foods.
The deli opened in the noughties, with an amazing range of local cheeses and…we’ve never looked back. Right here in the Over Farm kitchens, we make our own jams, cakes, bakes and – of course – our famous potato salad and coleslaw. If you know, you know.
We partner the delightful Drapers Bakery in Tewkesbury for our bread and continue to source our cheeses from firm favourites Croome Cuisine and local cheesemongers Smart’s Cheese, who produce their handmade Gloucester cheese less than a mile from us as the crow flies.

Farm-made goods, vegan delights and a wealth of knowledge
The first faces you’ll see when you step foot in Over Farm Market belong to our smiley deli team. They know everything about the foods we sell, from the types of cow that produce our cheeses to every last ingredient in our home made jams.
If you’re looking for delicious vegan treats, we’ve got ‘em! Handmade tiffin by Emma at Emshira Passion for Cakes, and delicious muffins by Clams Cakes. Or maybe it’s an enormous scotch egg that tickles your pickle? We hawk those too, handmade by Ledbury legends The Handmade Scotch Egg Co. And if you’re simply after the perfect pork pie, try one of Outdoor Pig’s, sold right here in the deli.

Meat lovers, step forward! Our counters are packed with fresh, flavourful cuts, bangers and oven-ready dishes to tantalise your tastebuds.

You’ll find the café nestled in at the back of the shop. Most ingredients come from our farm and the deli, so if you’re after a fresh bite to eat – do pop in!

A family day full of fun at Countryside Adventure!
Drive along the track from the deli and you’ll discover Over Farm’s Countryside Adventure, a wonderfully fun, farm-themed day out for all the family.
Throughout the year and during every school holiday, Countryside Adventure opens for special events, from quests with the Easter Bunny to spooooooky happenings at Halloween and summer-long bonanzas to Christmassy celebrations.
Feed our critters on the animal trail, play in the HUGE barnyard play area, bounce on our enormous pillows and try for a hole in one on our mini golf course. Hitch a lift on the tractor trailer, ride on the quad trains and enjoy our themed shows and crafts. There’s oodles to do at Countryside Adventure and hot food and drinks available too.
Each event’s tickets go on sale in advance, and they usually sell out fast.
