FAQs
What happens if I’m late?
Don’t panic! We set the time slots to help with car parking and customer queues. If you are a little bit early or late, we will gladly let you in. If you are going to miss the day entirely, please keep reading for more information.
What are the Countryside Adventure opening times?
We vary the opening and closing times depending on demand, but as a general rule, Countryside Adventure opens at 10.00am and closes at 4.00pm. We open slightly earlier for events – generally 9:30am to 4:00pm. ALWAYS check the event page for opening times, as this supersedes all advice here.
We suggest everyone gets here as early as their schedule allows. This is to ensure everyone gets a full experience and value for money. AGAIN, ALWAYS check the event page for closing or last entry times, as this supersedes all advice here.
Do I need to book?
We strongly advise all visitors to book their tickets online before they travel.
This means you can take advantage of our earlybird booking discount, and helps us to manage queueing times, staffing levels and venue capacity.
Can I change my booking?
Yes. While we cannot offer refunds, we can transfer your booking to another date.
If you created an account at the point of checkout, you can log in HERE to alter your booking.
If you did not create an account, our team will be happy to alter your booking for you. To do this, please email us with your booking reference and the new date and time which you would like to move your visit to.
Is there parking?
Yes. We have ample on-site parking, all of which is free.
Can I bring my dog?
No, except for service dogs. Due to the large number of small children on site, the difficulty making sure that all canine companions are cleared up after and that some of our animals are scared of them, we have decided not to allow dogs into the Countryside Adventure.
They are however, more than welcome to visit our farm shop, Over Farm Market or our pick your own fields.
Please note: if dogs are discovered left in cars on warm days the relevant authorities will be notified.
Can I feed the animals?
Yes! Bags of animal feed are available to buy at the admissions shed for £1 per bag. These specially formulated grass-based pellets are suitable for all four-legged creatures on our farm.
Please do not bring your own food for the animals.
Can I bring a picnic?
Yes. We have lots of grassy areas and benches which can be used for picnics.
We also have catering outlets within the farm park and a café located inside our farm shop, Over Farm Market.
Is Countryside Adventure suitable for wheelchair users?
While we endeavour to create a suitable environment for all visitors to create fantastic memories, the nature of our site can present some challenges for wheelchair users.
Due to the rural nature of our destination, access pathways can be uneven, grassy and sometimes laid to large gravel.
We find that the majority of electric wheelchair users can navigate the site well, push-type chairs can be challenging.
Is Countryside Adventure suitable for pushchairs?
All areas of the site are accessible by pushchair, although the uneven and sometimes gravel laid pathways may present a challenge to buggies with smaller wheels.
Pushchairs are not permitted on the tractor rides and must be left behind at the buggy park. Please be prepared to take all valuables with you.
Baby Changing and feeding.
Baby changing facilities are available within the accessible port-a-loo.
If you require hot water to warm bottles, please ask a member of our team in the catering unit.
We are a breastfeeding friendly site. If there is anything we can do to make you feel more comfortable while feeding your baby, please do let us know.
Please note: no eating or drinking, including breast feeding, is permitted around the Animal Trail. Please wash your hands with soap and water when leaving these areas, and before eating, drinking or feeding your baby.
Can I leave the event and come back?
Yes, please ask the team in the admissions hut for a hand stamp.
Do you cater for those with dietary requirements/allergies?
