We were lucky enough to win tickets to Over Farms opening day for Spookyard. What a great day out it was! My girls loved searching for the scarecrows around the farm and collecting their prize at the end of the day. The Halloween decorations around the farm were amazing, they have really gone all out to create the best halloween experience! There were lots of food options available, the Bella Mia pizza’s were delicious. They had a face painter there who did some fab designs ( this was an extra charge but definitely worth it! ) Thank you Over Farm’s Countryside Adventure for a fantastic day. I would highly recommend to anyone and we will definitely be back!
Visited Over Farm Spookyard Yesterday and had an amazing day out with our 2 year old Grandson. There was so much to do. He loved the pumpkin Maze , live spooky show, bounce pillows , woodland walk, animals and of course the tractor ride 🚜 . Such a great day
Ready, set… SPOOK! Spookyard’s back for October half term, packed full of fun, silliness and pumpkin-loads of activities for all the family. If your child likes Halloween – or getting up to happy shenanigans in the fresh air – they’ll LOVE this!
Put on your freakiest fancy dress (yes, you too parents!) and creep it real at Countryside Adventure for a fangtastically full day out on the farm, just when you need it! See how many pumpkins you can spot on our spellbinding trailer ride, then join two cheeky hobgoblins, Glom and Gloria, for rather ridiculous live shows all through your day at Spookyard. They might try and teach you how to be horrid, so keep your wits about you! Come prepared to pull your silliest faces, create confusion and dance like a – err – goblin!
Spookyard tickets include full access to Countryside Adventure, with a Halloween twist everywhere you look. Animals to feed, maize maze to get lost in, jumping pillows to bounce on, tractor trailer tours and quad train rides, mini golf, corn cannons for blasting, and all sorts of hocus pocus.

Opening times and prices for Spookyard at Over Farm’s Countryside Adventure

From 10am – 4pm every day of October half term, from Saturday 24th of October – Sunday 1st November.
Our ticket prices can change with demand, so booking online is always the best value.
From £10.49 per adult when booked before 10th of October.
The biggest savings come when you book 14+ days before your visit during our Earlybird period; these lowest-price tickets often sell out quickly, so it’s worth locking them in early.
A £2 booking fee applies per online transaction.
Earlybird (14+ days ahead) – best value
Book more than two weeks in advance for our farm park and you’ll unlock our Earlybird prices – the lowest we go!
Online (by 10pm the day before) – still cheaper
Missed the Earlybird window? You’ll still save when you book online before 10pm the day before your visit.
Gate (on the day) – highest price
Just turning up? You’re always welcome; just know that gate prices are higher and kick in from 10pm the day before.

The Hobgoblins’ Handbook of Horrid
Glom and Gloria are two naughty hobgoblins on a mission to make everyone else just as impish as they are! But what happens when you turn everyone you want to haunt into a hobgoblin too? Hmmm, we’re not sure they’ve thought this one through. Come and learn from the Handbook of Horrid and give Glom and Gloria a run for their money!
The Hobgoblins’ Handbook of Horrid will be at 11am, 1pm and 3pm every day.
Daily fancy Dress Competition
Spookyard isn’t really Spookyard until we’ve seen at least a hundred little witches and warlocks strutting their stuff on our witch’s-catwalk. So crack out your best fancy dress (mum and dad, that includes you!) and rock up to Countryside Adventure in style – then join us in the roundhouse to find out who’s won each of our different creeeeepy categories!
Fancy dress competitions will start around 2.20pm, straight after the Hobgoblins’ Hullaballoo!
The Hobgoblins’ Hullaballoo
Those horrid hobgoblins Glom and Gloria are back to cast a spell – beware! As usual, they’re up to their naughty tricks and this time they’re putting ants in your pants to make you dance. Only, there’s a slight chance that their spell could backfire – lack of experience and all that. Come and find out what happens when a hobgoblin can’t stop dancing! (And be prepared to wiggle those hips!)
The Hobgoblins’ Hullaballoo will run at 12pm and 2pm every day.

Corn Cannons
Who knew blasting a cob of sweetcorn into the sky was so much fun?! How many targets can you hit?
Quad train
Bump around the farm in our hilarious and much-loved quad train (with a Halloween twist!).
Mini golf
Step onto our thrilling 9-hole course and find out who’s a dab-hand with the putter.
Animal trail
Greet our lovable gang of ostriches, pigs, donkeys, llamas and more – and perhaps treat them to a little feed.
Bouncy pillows
Burn off some steam in FOUR different play areas – including our famous bouncy pillows!
Woodland walk
Who will you spot around the woods this Halloween? Creep through our “frightening” forest and see!
Tractor rides
Hop aboard our tractor trailer and enjoy the farmer’s view of Over Farm! Rides are running all day.
Maize Maze
How long will it take you to find your way through our hauntingly labyrinthine trails?!
'Pumpkin' Foot Golf
Okay, so it might be a football masquerading as a pumpkin, but this comical course is still a lot of fun!

Food and drink at Countryside Adventure
During Spookyard, our fantastical food marquee will be back in all its glory, and there will be crepes and pizza’s too!
Coffee to warm up? Not a problem. Ice cream if it’s hot (you never know, it is England!) we’ve got you covered!
Though our goats and other animals might like the look of your sarnies, please don’t be tempted to share any food with them. Their tummies thrive on our specially curated animal feed which meets their nutritional needs.
If you’d like to feed them, please buy a £1 bag at the admissions hut and enjoy an extra special encounter with our animals!
