The Venue
Originally built for grain storage more than 170 years ago, Over Barn was given a new lease of life when it was beautifully renovated in 2010.
With stone flooring, mezzanine level, beautiful beams and huge ceiling height, the area offers plenty of flexibility to accommodate your activities and can be decorated however you like.
The adjacent courtyard is a fantastic asset to any event. The undercover seating, skittle alley and fire pit are all yours to enjoy.
We can also offer hire of the ‘Big Bargus’ field. Just a stones throw from the Barn, the field has been used for everything from a festival-style music and food location to a base for inflatable obstacle courses. If you have a quirky idea for an activity – this is your space!
Our friendly team are here to help and have a wealth of experience to share and will be more than happy to help make your special birthday party, anniversary or celebration a day to remember.

Capacity
The Barn can host up to 120 guests for a sit-down meal, if you hire additional areas we can accommodate up to 400 guests.
Catering
Whether you’d like a sit-down dinner or something a little more informal our experienced team are able to bring your vision to life.
Using fresh, local produce from our Farm Shop, our pizzas are to die for and our BBQs are legendary (even if we do say so ourselves!).

Getting Here
Just off the A40 in Gloucester, Over Barn is easily accessible from surrounding towns and cities.
We’ve got stacks of free parking for guests arriving by car and the area is suitable for coach drop-offs, should you wish to provide mass transport.
Guests should follow the signs for ‘Over Farm’, until they reach the Farm shop car park. Then, follow signs for ‘Over Barn’ along the track.
