Ready, steady, GO…!

There are two words that have a bigger impact than most at the farm: ‘school’s out’!

As soon as the schools break up for the summer, the farm descends into a whirl of activity, with many people visiting us for the various wild and wonderful things we offer.

If you have children that are now off, I’m willing to bet that you’re thinking two things:

Firstly, you’re thinking – ‘it’s lovely that I’m going to get to spend some quality time with my kids’.

Secondly, you’re thinking – ‘how on earth am I going to fill these six weeks?’

If those thoughts are reverberating around your brain then I’ve got good news for you, we can help, with both bits.

So, let me tell you what we’ve got coming up…

Family Farm Summer Trail
Our summer trail gives you the chance to get your kids out in the fresh air and enjoy our 14 fun activities, as well win a prize if you get all the trail questions correct. It’s running daily at the farm, from Wednesday 24 July to Sunday 1 September.

Pick Your Own Fruit
When I think back to my own summer holidays as a lad, one of the things I used to love most about the farm was the juicy, ripe fruit. We’ve got strawberries, raspberries and blackberries ready to pick, so if the family fancy some fruit picking, then make a beeline for Over Farm. Plus find a golden strawberry to win £150 to spend at the farm shop!

So there you go, three things you can do this summer, that deliver you both fun family time AND some much needed entertainment for your little ones.

Hopefully we’ll see you very soon!
