Why not stay in this Valentine’s Day?

Valentine’s Day is fast approaching and whether you’re a full-on romantic or more of a cynic who would rather boycott the whole affair, if you’re in a relationship then chances are, you’ll end up doing something to celebrate.

Which leaves you with two options: stay in or go out.

Now I may be alone on this but avoiding overcrowded restaurants on one of their busiest days of the year has always sounded like a better idea to me. You still get to be romantic but in the privacy of your own home.

If I haven’t convinced you yet, here are a few more reasons to celebrate Valentine’s Day at home this year.

You’ll save money

It’s no secret that prices get hiked up on Valentine’s Day. There are little to no deals to be found and you could end up paying extra for things that usually cost a lot less. Plus, you’ll have to factor in additional costs on top of food and drink such as taxis or new outfits.

You don’t have to get dressed up

Yep, it’s true, you can stay in your pajamas all night if you want! You don’t have to spend ages getting ready and you get to be comfortable. Win, win.

You can cozy up

February is a cold month so why not stay out of the wind and the freezing temperatures and wrap yourselves up all cozy at home instead.

You don’t have to put up with bad food

When restaurants are catering to the many people in a night the quality of food can only be so good. You can dodge all of this by cooking at home. Which brings me on nicely to my next and last point…

You can take advantage of our Valentine’s Day Special Offer

We’re offering two 10oz Sirloin Steak and a bottle of Strawberry Hill Red Wine for just £25!

This offer ends on Valentine’s Day. You can order yours by emailing the shop or giving us a call on 01452 341510.

Wishing you all a fantastic Valentine’s Day no matter what you get up to.
