The last place you want hunger to strike, is when stuck in traffic..and that’s exactly what happened to me. And like a thirsty person in the desert seeing a mirage, I saw Over Farm appear on the horizon. Except this was no mirage, it was a a place filled with fresh, homemade food, ready to be eaten. I ordered the ploughman’s sandwich, accompanied by an ice coffee, perfect for a hot day. The bread was thick cut, cheese mature, and the pickle..pickley. I was so happy with my meal I didn’t even notice the traffic on the way home! Would 100% recommend a stop off!
Lovely farm. It was fun picking strawberries with the family. The strawberries are OK too. At least fresh from the farm to the table. The only thing was that, as we were in the 2nd last session, we did have to put in an effort to find good ones, but the farm management was kind enough not to kick us out after our stipulated 30 minutes. I would definitely recommend it 10/10. It's a beautiful drive if you are coming from the Midlands. You get a large container for £15 that can hold up to 2.8 kg of strawberries. Excellent space to bring your picnic. There is a play area too, but we didn't go there.
Fantastic fun, everything was great, the reptile experience was amazing!! Highly recommended!!
We had a brilliant day out today 3 grandchildren ages 6,8,10 all had a great time with plenty to do, they especially loved the quad bike ride Would definitely recommend to friends
Over farm a fun day out
Took my grandsons to the farm 3 & 6, didn’t think I’d be there long I was there all day with them. They didn’t want to leave. They loved the foam, the animals, tractor ride, quad bike ride, absolutely everything.
Loved It
First time here and it won't be the last. Plenty to do although there doesn't appear to be much to do if it was raining. Very varied items for the kids to play on/with and the two fellas that were driving the tractor and quad were brilliant especially when they unleashed the foam canon, awesome. We could have stayed longer but had other arrangements. It was busy but never felt full .
Great day out and value for money
Even on a hot bank holiday, Over Farm is a great place to go with it's big circular marquee where you can eat (own food or sensibly priced cafe) on picnic tables and benches. There was a dinosaur show with dinos walking around and entertaining people of all ages! The children LOVED the tractor and quad rides...and Gary (Rover from Over) was brilliant with the kids. We have been to a number of farm adventure places and we felt this one was the best value for money as we wanted to spend all day there.
