Get ready for a blooming brilliant day out at our Gloucester farm park, Countryside Adventure. Introducing our brand new Easter holidays kids event near Gloucester, The Spring Spectacular, where music, games, and laughter are in full bloom!

With spring-themed live shows, a mystery trail for a goody bag prize, animals, tractor trailer rides and – you’ve been warned – roaming karaoke, there’s oodles to do at Countryside Adventure all through the Easter holidays this year.

Pull on your wellies and prepare for a day packed with music, dancing, games and springtime magic that’ll have your whole family grinning from ear to ear.

What’s included in your Countryside Adventure tickets?

Looking for something to do with the family in Gloucester during the Easter holidays? Explore our farmyard fun zones, meet our friendly animals, play mini golf and enjoy a hilariously bumpy ride in our quad trains! Get a farmer’s eye view in a tractor trailer ride around our farm, play foot golf, shoot the tennis ball cannons, and bounce on our giant jumping pillows.

Or just soak in the beauty of spring, burn off holiday steam and enjoy the fresh air in our lovely little slice of Gloucestershire. And don’t forget to solve the mystery trail for a goody bag prize during the first week of the holidays!

Live shows at Countryside Adventure’s Spring Spectacular

Spring is springing and our farm park is buzzing with excitement as Mooriel the cow, BWARK the chicken and Baarty the sheep take centre stage from 12^th – 21^st April. They’ll get your little ones singing, dancing and cracking up as there’s something for everyone to enjoy (…let’s see those hips, grown-ups).

Here’s what’s coming up in the Roundhouse during the Easter holidays this year:

The Springing Singing Show!

(12^th – 21^st April only)

Mooriel the cow and BWARK the chicken are BFFFs (Bestest Farm Friends Forever), ready to bring you a springtime farmyard fiesta full of music, dancing, and fun!

Spring has sprung, and Mooriel’s helping Farmer Rees with spring cleaning. Well…sort of! Muddy hooves and no opposable thumbs cause a bit of chaos, and Mooriel ends up feeling down. But BWARK’s got a plan: the very first Cock-a-Doodle-Dooo Party!

With crazy dance moves for you to join in with, original songs like “The Strut and Cluck,” and plenty of silliness, Mooriel and BWARK prove that every farm flop can turn into the party of the year. Don’t miss the springtime fun.

Bwark’s Eggtravaganza!

(12^th – 21^st April only)

BWARK the chicken is back, running the show as always, but Mooriel the cow is in a serious mooood! Poor old Mooriel doesn’t lay eggs (as BWARK keeps reminding her)… So ‘why does that Easter Bunny get all the fun?’, she wonders. (We’ve wondered the same thing, Mooriel, if we remember correctly, rabbits don’t lay eggs either!)

But after much moooody mooo-ing, BWARK lets Mooriel join in on the egg-citing silliness. So get ready for a hilarious mix of egg-themed games, as well as Mooriel’s own twist, with a milking challenge. Pink rubber gloves, buckets, and brave grown-ups included!

Have a Party with Baarbra, The Barnyard Baard!

(12^th – 21^st April only)

Any time of the day you might bump into Baarbra the sheep around our farm park. She loves to sing, dance, and baaa-ring the fun!

Armed with her portable speaker and microphone, Baarbra’s always ready for a bit of Baa-raoke, where all the boys and girls can join in. You too, grown-ups, grab a mic! Get ready for more laughs, music, and unstoppable baa-rilliant entertainment!

Live show: Monkey Magic!

Marky Jay and his monkey assistant, Professor Steve Chimpington are on a mission to amaze you all. Prepare to marvel over their hilarious magic tricks and juggling which…errr…never quite seem to go completely to plan!

Shows will be running twice daily from the 22nd to the 27^th of April.

Live show: Crabracadabra!

Meet Loz Because, a circus-loving mistress of sea creatures who’s here to take your child on an adventure on the sea. There’ll be balloons, pirates, bubbles, juggling and we’ll get those hips wiggling with some amazing hula-hooping skills too. All with the help of Loz’s cheeky, magical sidekick, Colin the Crab!

Shows will be running twice daily from 22nd to 27^th.

Live shows will run multiple times every day throughout the holidays – think magic, hula hoops and much hilarity!

Who’s going to get a hole in one this time? You’ve got nine opportunities… Grab a putter, choose a ball and give it a go!

Animal trail

Our animals are desperate to make your acquaintance! Meet ostriches, pigs, donkeys, llamas and more…

Barnyard play

Your kids could spend all day having a blast in our three play areas, letting off some steam with some farm-themed play.

Tractor rides

All aboard the tractor trailer! Rides will run all day, make sure you hop aboard for a different perspective of the farm.

Arts and crafts*

In the roundhouse, you’ll find our arts and crafts and face painting stations – * available as a paid extra for all you creatives.

Quad train

Who dares brave the quad train?! Kids love trundling around the farm in their very own barrel. Have a go!

Ball cannons

Who can blast a tennis ball the furthest? There’s nothing quite like the feeling of sending those balls into space!

Food and drink at Over Farm’s Spring Spectacular

Bring a picnic, grab a tasty bite from our fabulous Food Hut, or head to the Coffee Shack to grab a hot drink and a treat to keep you energised. They’ll be open all through your day, all through the holidays.

Love pizzas, burgers and crêpes?! We’ve got our trusty favourites here during our peak first week of the holidays too.

We’d be grateful if you didn’t share anything other than the designated feed with our lovely animals though please. You can buy a bag at the admissions hut if you like – you’ll soon have them eating out of the palm of your hands!
